Since 1994, Fred Layman has challenged athletes and coaches to impact lives through sports. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for campers and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, enrichment, and leadership training.

Wide World of Sports Academy provides students and coaches the opportunity to reach their athletic potential by offering various lifetime sports, enrichment activities, and leadership training in a camper-friendly setting. We create an athletic environment that produces an intangible transformation in campers’ lives through sport and activity learning surroundings.

A Development and Introduction-based Sports Experience

As a business, we choose to be low cost, high energy, and introduce new players to multiple sports.

Group clinics alleviate burn out and help steer the child and parent toward the sport that fits their skill levels. Giving the ability to introduce multiple sports to children at a young age offers them the option to help carve their path in sports and in life.

We believe sports change lives and are proud to have The Windermere Club Facilities to help us positively impact kids through sports.

At WWS, we seek to make our students better players and better people. We strive to teach in ways that promote growth and advancement not only on the field, course, or court but in our community, and we define achievement in the progress that we make together.
