We Believe that Sports Matter

Introduce-Enlighten-Cultivate-Accomplish

For over 20 years, we have been helping to introduce kids to sports and providing opportunities to encourage them to Stay Active!

We help young players, boys, and girls ages 5 to 15, develop a passion for playing and provide a pathway to explore, develop and achieve through sports.

Wide World of Sports combines athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging youth programs that teach athletic skill development, promote academic learning and coach young players to make good decisions on the field, course, court and in life.

PREPARING KIDS FOR
THE GAME OF LIFE

We believe sports change lives and are proud to have The Windermere Club Facilities to help us positively impact kids through sports.

At WWS, we seek to make our students better players and better people. We strive to teach in ways that promote growth and advancement not only on the field, course, or court but in our community, and we define achievement in the progress that we make together.

OUR STORY

Since 1994, Fred Layman has challenged athletes and coaches to impact lives through sports. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for campers and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, enrichment, and leadership training.

CAMPS | Hosted at The Winderemere Club Tennis and Aquatics Complex

WWS camps offer students of all ages and abilities an opportunity to further develop fundamentals, improve skills, and advance their game in a fun and non-competitive environment. Our sports camps help develop athletic ability, understanding and enjoyment of sports while building confidence, having fun and making friends. Week-long, half day and full day camps provide parents with flexibility and support during holidays, spring break and the summer months.

Age Range: 5 – 15

All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp. In addition, campers must be potty-trained and able to handle a half or a full day program.
